Pew News - 11 Jan 2026

As we enter the 160th year of St Mary’s Church, we do so in a season of significant change and exciting opportunity. As you will have noticed, the church has now been emptied in preparation for the Heritage 160 works, which we hope will be completed by the end of the summer. During this time, please be aware that the location of our January services will vary. We will publicise service locations each month, but if you are ever unsure, please do contact a member of the leadership team.

To mark this special anniversary, we are delighted to be planning a 160th Anniversary Recipe Book, featuring 160 favourite recipes. This wonderful idea was suggested by Julie Cousens, and we warmly encourage you to speak to Julie or email her at julie56cousens@gmail.com to contribute a recipe. Do please get involved - this project will not only celebrate our community but also help raise much-needed funds for the church.
