SOUND WORSHIP
Sun 28 Sept – 4pm
Sound Worship is a Christian orchestra made up of players from churches of various denominations from all over Hampshire.
From Ros Mearns:
“During August, I have attended Spring Road Evangelical Church once, and Sholing Baptist Church three times, both of which are within easy walking distance from my home. Inevitably there are some differences in the forms of service, but I enjoyed them and found both to be very friendly, welcoming, and well attended, except for the week many of the Baptist congregation were away at church camp, where it seems there was a huge variety of activities, interspersed with periods of worship, and all seemed to have a wonderful time. I also discovered that I already knew by sight one of the Baptist Staff.
Instead of attending Church on one of the Sundays, I took a walk around the Millers Pond area, which I always find very beautiful and peaceful for a bit of contemplation. I feel thankful to have this oasis on my doorstep, having been obliged to give up driving some years ago and now being unable to walk very far.”
