Pew News - 23 Nov 2025
At Monday’s PCC meeting we were delighted to see photos of the amazing transformation of the Pavilion on Veracity. Thanks to the hard work of our wonderful volunteers — Donna, Karla and Wayne — and the generosity of local businesses, the space has been beautifully renewed.
On Sunday 30th November at 10am, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Pavilion for yourself and hear more about the mission and ministry that takes place there. We look forward to sharing this inspiring work with you.
There will be bacon sandwiches, a tour of the transformed space, and a chance to enjoy some craft activities. All are welcome!

MIA HOWES BAPTISM

We hope to see some of you at Mia Howes’ Baptism.
The Parish Giving Scheme
A simple and efficient way to support your church regularly. The Parish Giving Scheme makes giving easy, secure, and tax-efficient - helping your gift go further and reducing administration for the parish. If you’d like to know more, please speak to Ben or Garry.
FLOWERS IN CHURCH
We’re looking for someone to take charge of the church flowers. This simply involves arranging a few small displays or vases every couple of weeks — no experience needed! If you enjoy flowers and would like to help make the church look welcoming, we’d love to hear from you. Please speak to one of the PCC members if you’re interested.
CHOCOLATE TOMBOLA DONATIONS
Please continue to bring your chocolate donations into church. There is a box at the entrance.
Thank you to all those that have already donated.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE RECIPE?
As part of our 160th Anniversary celebrations next year, Julie has had the wonderful idea of creating a special Celebration Cookbook! We’d love to include your favourite tried and tested recipes — family favourites, comfort food, or something passed down through the ages.
If you’d like to contribute a recipe, please speak to Julie email julie56cousens@gmail.com
