Pew News - 13th July 2025
This week’s thought has been shared by our LLM Su Brakewell:
This morning, I found myself wondering – do we truly see the light and life that God brings to all creation, and rejoice in it each and every day?
As I work on getting fitter and losing a bit of weight, I’ve started enjoying a daily walk. One of the unexpected blessings has been the time it gives me to really open my eyes and notice God’s wonderful and diverse creation. The vibrant colours and scents of summer flowers, the gentle hum and flutter of butterflies, bees, dragonflies, and all kinds of flying insects, the birds calling and flitting about – all these remind me of the beauty and creativity of our God.
So, if we want to see God at work, let’s make a choice to intentionally open our eyes to the world around us. Let’s behold His presence in the everyday wonders of creation – and not forget to rejoice and praise the Lord for the day He has made!
