Sholing Parish Indoor Car Boot Sale – Now a Monthly Event!
On Saturday 5 July, our church and parish hall were transformed into a vibrant hub of community life as we hosted our very first indoor car boot sale – and what a wonderful morning it turned out to be!
Sellers arrived early to set up their stalls, offering a mix of pre-loved and new items – everything from books, toys, household items, clothes, and handmade crafts to collectibles. It wasn’t long before the space filled with local people browsing, chatting, and discovering hidden gems.
As well as the chance to grab a bargain or two, visitors were able to enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks and tuck into our freshly made tasty bacon baps (thank you Sue and Kirsty in the kitchen).
Thanks to the enthusiasm of everyone who took part – whether you were selling, buying, volunteering, or just dropping by – we’re thrilled to say this event was a success. It’s clear there’s a hunger (for both bargains and bacon!) for this kind of regular gathering in our community.
Making It a Monthly Event
We’re delighted to announce that this indoor car boot sale will now become a monthly event, held on the last Saturday of each month from 9am to 12 noon, right here in the Sholing parish hall and St Mary’s Church, Sholing.

Meet local people
Enjoy tasty refreshments
Whether you’re a seasoned car boot seller or completely new to it, everyone is welcome – and it’s a great way to take part in something positive and community-focused.
