Summer Fete Thanks and Record Total Raised!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make last Saturday’s Summer Fete such a joyful and successful event. From stalls like plants, cakes, tombolas, jigsaw puzzles, pirate treasure, and the mini railway, to the delicious BBQ and refreshments and the fantastic Grand Draw with 40 prizes – there was something for everyone! We were also glad to offer free religious books throughout the day. Special thanks to our wonderful musical performers: St Monica School Choir, Salty Sea Dogs Band, and Southampton Ukulele Jam, who brought music and cheer to the event.
We’re delighted to share that the fete raised £2,200 – the most money raised since I have been Vicar here! This is a truly remarkable result and will go a long way in supporting the life and mission of our church. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, volunteered, performed, or simply came along. Your generosity and community spirit made all the difference. Congratulations again to all our raffle winners!

Our Bible study group began during the Covid lockdowns with the Bible Society’s Bible Course, and five years on we're still meeting — a relaxed, friendly group currently exploring Luke and Acts, full of conversation, insight, and laughter; speak to Joyce if you'd like to join us!
