Summer Fete Success – A Wonderful Day for All!
What a fantastic day we had at our Summer Fête last Saturday! Glorious sunshine, a joyful atmosphere, and a wonderful turnout made it a truly memorable occasion for all ages.
Our grounds were alive with colour, laughter, and community spirit, and we were thrilled to welcome so many friends, neighbours, and visitors. The day was packed with activities and stalls, including:
A fabulous Plant Stall with something for every garden.
Mouth-watering food from the BBQ and Refreshments team.
The ever-popular Ride-On Mini Railway, giving rides around the site all day!
A tricky but fun Guess the Football Player game.
The adventurous Find the Pirate Treasure, loved by our younger guests.
A fantastic selection of Jigsaw Puzzles.
Two exciting tombolas – Chocolate and Bottles – both crowd favourites.
A warm invitation to explore and take away Free Religious Books.
Tempting treats at the Cake Stall, all homemade.
St Johns Ambulance who gave demonstrations
And, of course, our Grand Draw Raffle, featuring 40 prizes worth many hundreds of pounds. Congratulations to all our winners!

A huge thank you to our musical performers, who brought life and energy to the fête with their talent:
St Monica School Choir: A delightful start to the day, full of joy and beautiful voices.
Southampton Salty Sea Dogs: Their rousing sea shanties had toes tapping and spirits high!
Southampton Ukulele Jam: A wonderfully fun and upbeat performance that had everyone smiling.
We’re thrilled to share that the fete raised an amazing £2,200 – a brilliant result that will go towards supporting our church’s work and community outreach.
