At St Mary’s Church, Sholing, we love welcoming families as they bring their children for Baptism (also known as Christening). It is a joyful and special moment, filled with hope, thanksgiving and prayer.

When you choose Baptism, you are thanking God for the gift of your child and asking for His blessing on their life. You are also making promises - promising to help your child grow up knowing they are loved by God and learning the way of Jesus. As a church family, we promise to support you in that journey.
