‍Confirmation Celebration - Sunday 8 March

Last Sunday we shared a joyful celebration at St Christopher’s Church, Thornhill, as Ben, Michele, Luke and Tim, along with members of St Christopher’s were confirmed by Bishop Rhiannon.

‍Surrounded by family, friends and members of our church family, they each affirmed their faith and commitment to follow Jesus. It was a wonderful moment in their journey of faith and a reminder to all of us of the promises made at our own baptism. Thank you to everyone who came along to support them.

The service took place on International Women's Day, which made it especially fitting to welcome Bishop Rhiannon to lead the service and pray for those being confirmed.

Jim treated us to a reading - Romans 12 read from The Message (let us know if you’d like a printout).

It was a warm and uplifting occasion, and we give thanks for Ben, Michele, Luke and Tim as they take this important step in their Christian lives. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they grow in faith and discipleship. READ MORE
