CONGRATULATIONS KIRSTY
Huge congratulations to Kirsty who has now submitted her final assessment for the 'Bishop’s Permission to Preach’ BPP.
We look forward to hearing more of Kirsty’s sermons in the future.
On 10th October 2026 Kirsty will join others who have followed God’s call into a ministry at Winchester Cathedral at 11am for a celebration service.
Be sure to get the date in your diary and join us as we celebrate with her.

📢SERVICE UPDATE – Summer & Return to Church
🗓️ 6 September - 8.30am Service only in the Church Hall. No 10am Service.
🎉 13 September 10.00am–1.00pm – A special Celebration Service as we return to St Mary's Church
following the completion of the building works. There will be no 8.30am service that day. Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this joyful service, followed by lunch together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back into our beautifully restored church building as we celebrate this exciting new chapter in the life of St Mary's.

VISION DAY FOLLOW UP MEETING
Sunday 16 August 2026 at 10am | Hall
If you have volunteered for one of the teams you will have received a letter inviting you to this follow up meeting, however it is open to anyone who is interested in knowing more about the follow up activities from our Vision Day.
There will be a brief act of worship, followed by discussion over tea/cold drink and biscuits – the meeting should last no longer than 90 minutes.
WOODLAND WALK & PICNIC
Sun 2 August | 11am | Itchen Valley Country Park
Join us for a Woodland Walk & Picnic on Sunday 2 August! Michele is organising a fun morning for everyone:
🌲 11:00am: Woodland walk (with a treasure hunt for the children, weather permitting!)
🧺 12:00pm: Picnic together

We are delighted to be regularly invited into our local schools to lead Open the Book sessions.
Do you enjoy sharing stories with children? If so, we'd love to welcome you to our storytelling team. No previous experience is necessary as full training and support will be provided.
